In this workshop Nathalie will share much of the teachings she learned from her teacher Pattabhi Jois during the time they spent together in India, including many stories, as well as all the modifications available in each posture of the ashtanga series.

Students will learn Half Primary Series in a led class format.

This workshop will include a short meditation and long savasana.

Level 2/3 or some yoga experience.

We will explore the chakras system in practical ways with tools to enhance our daily lives. In this workshop we will move through a sequence of postures, yoga asanas, designed to ground us, return us to center and come back to ourselves.

As we link movement to breath we will rejuvenate our whole system; Body, Mind & Spirit.

Nathalie will guide you through a simple and yet effective meditation. We will discuss the many benefits of meditation and how it can assist us in living a more balanced life. This workshop will also leave you with tools to continue or begin a daily meditation home practice.

About The Workshop

In this workshop, we will move through a Vinyasa yoga sequence designed to create space and expand our lines of energy, enhancing our prana (life-force).

Through the breath, as we exhale, we will let go and release that which no longer serves us and invite more light into our entire system

(body, mind and spirit) with each inhalation. 

We will work with pratyahara (turning our senses inward) and subtle body practices such as the drishti (gaze) and bandhas (energy locks) while playing with our edge in each pose and finding stillness in movement. The workshop will also include a healing technique.

HOW TO CREATE AND SUSTAIN A HOME PRACTICE


21 Days Yoga Challenge Online Course



The Rules

The idea of this challenge is to create a simple practice so we can do it and notice all of the shifts and changes.

  • Practice six days a week, taking one day off.

  • Practice daily by latest mid-afternoon, let’s say 3 pm.

  • Either practice the sequence I created for you which is about 25 to 32 minutes give or take, or attend a yoga class.

  • Eat healthy foods, organics, high alkaline content/plant foods – if you need inspiration for healthy eating I have done great amounts of research throughout my life, just ask!

  • Book a “life coach session” with Nathalie. Sessions are done via Skype or Zoom.

  • Practice meditation minimum five minutes a day. Give yourself a goal, it can be five minutes a day or 10, 15 or 20, but be sure to make it a realistic goal.
